I was at a basketball game a few hours earlier, and 70% of the girls on the bleachers were wearing fake UGGs and North Face jackets. Seriously, people. Does no one appreciate fashion for what it is anymore? The majority of the girls at my school think fashion means excessive shopping trips to Abercrombie & Fitch (that store is dead to me. You'll be surprised how much you hate a place once you finish working there) and Macy's. Not that I have anything against Macy's. But honestly. Creativity among preppy cheerleaders is a lost cause here.

I've been ice skating more than ever these past few weeks. We're in preparation for the IVFSC Winter Show, which is a major event at the Civic Center; so major that Peoria-native, Olympic-Champion Matt Savoie, dubbed the "Pride of Peoria", is coming to perform. Yes, I said that without even one drop of excitement. Seriously. I've seen him fall during shows enough times to be convinced that he's not exactly the best. No offense.

Thanksgiving is just in a few weeks, which means we're one day closer to Black Friday! Black Friday is always exciting. There's that I-need-to-find-something-amazing feeling in your stomach, and the rush of post-Thanksgiving sales at Urban Outfitters and Gordman's. Every day we're one step closer to extravagant prices at our favorite stores. Of course, the worst feeling is the feeling after Black Friday has passed.

Yawn. I have to go. It's snowing outside right now. Winter sucks.
Don't worry, I'll be posting soon with lots of love.

xoxo, Lindsey.
